According to sources in the Ministry of Education, model SOPs for educational institutions would be initially implemented in the federal capital. According to education ministry sources, a meeting of the inter-provincial committee for opening SOPs and educational institutions and madrassas will be convened in early July.

According to the recommendations of the Inter-Provincial Committee, it will be decided to open educational institutions in accordance with the situation in the country. According to sources, training institutes across the country have been closed since the evening of March 13 due to the corona virus and are not allowed to reopen till July. The All Pakistan Private Schools and Colleges Association has demanded the resignation of Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood, accusing him of failing to address the problems of private educational institutions and ruining the future of millions of students during the Corona epidemic. As a result of the strategy, about 20% of private educational institutions across the country have been shut down, while one million teachers are facing the monster of unemployment.
